What is Mixtape for You?

Mixtape for You gives a music selection a physical-looking wrapper. The creation flow begins with cassette artwork rather than a blank playlist. Existing project documentation describes adding YouTube song links and a personal message; the cassette picker remains available on the current site.

What you can do

  • Cassette cover selection
  • YouTube-linked music gift
  • Personal note and share-page workflow

How to get started

  1. Open the creator and choose cassette artwork.
  2. Prepare the song links and note you want the recipient to see.
  3. Check the final link yourself before sending it.

Giving a mixtape a clear theme

Choose songs around one occasion or shared memory rather than filling every available slot. Check each YouTube link and the order before sending the finished mix. Tracks can become unavailable or restricted later, so a shared mixtape should not be treated as a permanent copy of the music.

Check the listening experience

A share page can load while a linked video does not. Check the intended songs and keep an ordinary list of their names in case links change.

Common questions

Does it upload my own music files?

The recorded workflow is based on YouTube song links. Do not assume that it hosts your audio files.

Is this the Replit mixtape app?

Yes. The listed address is mixtape-for-you.replit.app.
