Separate narration from conversation
A prepared voiceover and a live spoken interaction have different requirements. Narration prioritizes delivery and editing, while a conversational experience also needs to handle timing, interruptions, and how spoken responses connect to an application.
Define the voice and language requirements
ElevenLabs offers voice generation and conversational voice products. Before selecting a workflow, check current language support, available voices, and the terms for the intended audience and distribution channel.
Make permission part of production
If a project involves a person’s voice, obtain appropriate permission and review the platform’s voice policies. Keep that permission with the project materials. Do not assume that the ability to generate an output grants all rights to publish it.
Test with the real script
Try names, numbers, abbreviations, and domain-specific terms from the actual content. Listen for meaning and pronunciation rather than judging only a polished demonstration. Confirm current plan limits and licensing directly with the provider.
